A unified data warehouse that turned 14 disconnected systems into one customer view.
The challenge
Ridge Outdoors had product data in Shopify, customer data in HubSpot, support data in Zendesk, ad spend in Meta and Google, inventory in NetSuite, and nine other systems. Their analyst spent four full days a month preparing the board pack. Lifetime value couldn't be computed at all.
What we built
We built a Snowflake warehouse with Fivetran ELT pipelines from all 14 sources, modeled in dbt with a clean star schema. dbt tests for data quality, automated lineage. A semantic layer in Cube.dev so the business team could query without SQL.
Looker dashboards replaced the board pack. The analyst now spends those four days on actual analysis. Ridge reallocated $847k of ad spend in the first quarter based on real LTV data they'd never had before.
